About you

Who's jumping

Your height is doing real work here. We use it to check the video's timing against gravity, which is how we catch a clip that's secretly running slow.

Conditions

These get stored with every result. If any of them change, the app won't put the two sessions on the same line, because they wouldn't be comparable.

Hands on hips is the standard. An arm swing is worth 10 to 30%, so it's a different test, not a better score.

Step 2 of 3

Load your clip

Slow motion, 240 fps. The clip only needs the jump itself plus a second either side.

The one that catches people On iPhone, take the slow motion out before you upload. Photos, open the clip, Edit, tap the speedometer icon, drag the left slider fully right so it reads 100% at 240 FPS, save. Otherwise iOS bakes the slow motion in and the clip arrives here eight times too slow.

Nothing is uploaded. The file is read in your browser and stays there.

Step 3 of 3

Find the jump

Drag to the moment just before you leave the floor.
